In Bishkek, a man's body was found in a house. It is suspected that he shot himself with a pistol.

On January 7, 2026, at approximately 11:00 AM, the duty unit of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek received a report that a man with a gunshot wound had been found in one of the apartments. The caller, who identified herself as a domestic worker, reported that the apartment owner, born in 1967, was known as Z. K. A pistol was found under the body.

This incident was recorded in the Information Accounting Journal of the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Directorate, after which an investigation was initiated.

A investigative-operational group promptly arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, they confirmed the information: the body of a man was found in the kitchen, and next to him was a pistol of unknown make.

During the examination of the crime scene, it was established that the order was not disturbed, and no signs of a struggle were found. A visual inspection of the body revealed no other injuries. Based on the collected data, the incident is preliminarily classified as a suicide.

Currently, necessary checks are being conducted, examinations have been appointed, and all circumstances of this incident are being clarified. The investigation is ongoing.
