Recently, a meeting took place in Tashkent between a delegation from the Energy Supervision Service of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and representatives of "Uzenergoinspektsiya." The director of the Kyrgyz service, J. Alimbekov, and the head of "Uzenergoinspektsiya," D. Isakulov, discussed the structure and functions of their organizations, focusing on aspects of energy supply reliability.

During the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on the causes of intersystem emergency outages and reviewed experiences in their analysis and prevention. This meeting marked the first step towards establishing closer cooperation between the energy inspections of both countries and will contribute to further experience exchange and strengthening of partnerships.

Reference information:

Intersystem emergency outages represent cascading problems that affect several sections of the energy system, sometimes covering entire countries or regions. Their causes are usually complex and interconnected:

1. Overload of the energy system:

When consumption sharply exceeds generation, which can occur:

- during peak loads in winter or summer (heating or cooling);

- due to a lack of reserve capacity;

- when major power plants are shut down.

In such situations, the system automatically disconnects some consumers to prevent a complete collapse.

2. Accidents at key network nodes:

- failure of high-voltage lines;

- accidents at substations;

- damage to transformers.

Key points are particularly dangerous, as their failure causes a "domino effect."

3. Weak synchronization between energy systems:

In interstate networks, such as in Central Asia, problems may arise due to:

- frequency inconsistencies (50 Hz);

- differences in generation modes;

- poor coordination among dispatchers.
