The Ministry of Natural Resources of Kyrgyzstan has denied rumors of mass tree felling in Bulan-Sogottu, stating that the removal of green spaces will only occur in specific cases as part of the park creation project.
In response to active discussions on social media, the Ministry confirmed that no large-scale tree destruction is planned.
What is actually happening?
A modern park will be created here, and during the process of laying pathways, only those trees that hinder the construction of paths or obstruct access for residents and machinery will be removed.
“Our priority is to protect the ecosystem,” emphasized the Ministry:
* Ecologists, together with local authorities, conducted a thorough examination of each tree.
* Most of the green spaces will remain untouched and will become part of the natural foundation of the new park.
* The project was presented to residents, showing how the area will change.
* All actions are under control, and the work is being carried out in strict accordance with the legislation.
“We aim to implement the project with maximum preservation of green space. As a result, a modern park area will emerge in this territory, which will become a safe and attractive place for family recreation,” the department added.
