There will be no mass logging in Bulan-Sogott – Ministry of Natural Resources
The Ministry of Natural Resources has published an official statement refuting rumors about an alleged mass tree felling in the village of Bulan-Sogottu. Representatives of the ministry noted that such actions are not planned.
According to information from the ministry, a modern park will be created in this area. To ensure the safety and comfortable movement of citizens, it is planned to selectively remove only those trees that obstruct the construction of paths or hinder access for machinery.
At the same time, the ministry emphasizes the importance of preserving the ecosystem:
- Ecologists as part of the commission, together with representatives of the local administration, have already conducted a thorough inspection of the condition of each tree.
- The majority of green plantings will remain untouched and will form the basis of the new park.
- A project has been presented to local residents, visually illustrating how the area will change.
- All actions are under strict control and are carried out in full compliance with the legislation.
“We intend to implement the project with maximum attention to preserving the green fund. A modern park zone will be created in this area, which will become a safe and attractive place for family recreation,” the ministry added.
