Yesterday, March 26, he was summoned for questioning at the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a witness in a case related to "Kyrgyzneftegaz." After the questioning, Turgunbaev was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
From 2013 to 2017, he served on the board of directors of "Kyrgyzneftegaz" and led this organization for some time.
According to information from sputnik, Turgunbaev is suspected of corrupt activities related to multi-billion embezzlements in "Kyrgyzneftegaz." It is worth noting that he previously held the position of chairman of the board of this company. Currently, the investigation is being conducted by the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
