On March 15, the founder of "Ayu Holding," Sharshenbek Abdykerimov, published a statement that began to actively spread on social media on March 22. Close associates of the entrepreneur confirmed that the account from which the address was made indeed belongs to him, as reported by Azattyk.
In his address, Abdykerimov claims that the former head of the Bishkek city department of the State National Security Committee, Eldar Jakypbekov, "carried out a terrorist attack" on his business.
"Today I learned that one of the leaders of the authorities was removed from office, and Eldar Jakypbekov was arrested — the person who, together with the employees of the GKNB under the leadership of Kamchybek Tashiev, organized a real terror against my business, against me and my company," his statement reads.
According to Abdykerimov, these actions were orchestrated by the former head of the security service, Kamchybek Tashiev.
Additionally, he reported that after all these events, he had to undergo five surgeries, and he also faced a stroke and serious heart problems.
"How did my holding manage to develop and create jobs for thousands of people over thirty years? And how was all of this destroyed in just three years? These events will remain in my memory forever," he noted in his statement.
Currently, Abdykerimov is in London, which has also been confirmed by his close associates in a comment to Azattyk.
Recall that in September of last year, the GKNB reported the transfer of several large trade and entertainment centers and industrial facilities owned by Abdykerimov to the state, with a value exceeding 10 billion soms.
According to the security service, "Ayu Holding" had long evaded tax and social contributions, registered part of its property in the names of affiliated persons, and presented false financial statements to legalize illegal income.
Among the transferred assets are commercial buildings in Bishkek, including a property on Toktogul, 126, valued at over 95 million soms, as well as the "AYU Grand" shopping center, estimated at more than 4 billion soms, cottages on Issyk-Kul, and other properties.
In 2023, President Sadyr Japarov stated that the alcohol and vodka plant of "Ayu" was being transferred to state ownership, as the enterprise did not fully meet its tax obligations and used counterfeit excise stamps.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Daniyar Amangeldiev, noted at that time that the transfer of the plant occurred on a voluntary basis. Since then, the GKNB has repeatedly reported the return of various assets related to "Ayu Holding" in favor of the state.
