- Rustam Sadyraliyev, Deputy General Director of the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Komur," stated on the radio that there is no coal shortage in the country; however, the main problem lies in its delivery to the regions.

According to him, there are sufficient coal reserves in Kyrgyzstan, but difficulties arise, for example, with transportation from Kara-Keche to each settlement.

This requires from 1 to 1.5 thousand trucks, and the total volume of supplies is about 700 thousand tons. "Such a volume cannot be transported in one day," Sadyraliyev explained.

He also noted that in the past, there were situations when the coal that entered the market could not be sold in time, and then demand sharply increased.

"People began to mass request coal, and the available reserves could be sold out in just one or two days. There was a gap of several days between supplies," he added.

According to Sadyraliyev, during such moments, there could be a rush among the population, even though there are actually enough coal reserves.

"We are capable of fully meeting the needs, regardless of the level of consumption," he emphasized.
