- OJSC "Kyrgyz Komur" mined 1 million 385 thousand tons of coal in 2025, which is 116–117% more than planned. The company's Deputy General Director Rustam Sadyraliev reported this on the radio.

As a result of the year, the company's revenue amounted to 6.5 billion soms, while expenses approached 6 billion soms, allowing for a net profit of 511 million soms.

Sadyraliev also noted that "Kyrgyz Komur" holds about 30 licenses and has approximately a thousand employees. The main deposits are located in the northern part of the country, including the Kara-Keche open pit, which supplies coal to the Chui, Issyk-Kul, and Naryn regions, as well as Bishkek.

Of the total volume of production, about 590 thousand tons were sent to the Bishkek CHPP, while the remaining part, around 700–800 thousand tons, was distributed among the population, budgetary institutions, and social organizations.

In addition, in 2025, there was an increase in coal exports: if in 2024 it amounted to about 290 thousand tons, in 2025 it increased to 411 thousand tons.

"Exports in 2024 were approximately 290 thousand tons, and in 2025 they reached 411 thousand tons," he added.

Furthermore, the company noted an increase in overburden removal volumes: with a planned 8 million cubic meters, more than 9.7 million cubic meters were actually completed.

The company is also continuing to expand its technical base. In 2024, 29 units of equipment were purchased, and in 2025, already 46 units.

In September 2025, "Kyrgyz Komur" transformed into a joint-stock company, which, according to Sadyraliev, opened new financial opportunities and improved interaction with the business.
