Kyrgyzstan is aimed at a significant economic upturn in the coming years. This was stated by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, in an interview with the interstate television and radio company "Mir".
According to him, the country has already implemented a development strategy until 2030, which outlines the main directions. In particular, there is a goal to increase the gross domestic product to at least 30 billion dollars. Currently, this figure, according to last year's results, stands at about 22.6 billion dollars.

Kasymaliev noted that actual growth may exceed the planned level. In his opinion, the main drivers of the economy will be sectors such as industry, construction, agriculture, and services. In the agricultural sector, growth is expected to be in the range of 2-4%.

He also added that special attention will be paid to the development of industry. In Kyrgyzstan, the opening of at least 100 new enterprises is planned. To enhance project management efficiency, responsible ministers will be appointed for each of them, reminiscent of the practices used in Uzbekistan.
