During the celebration of Nowruz in Naryn, President Sadyr Japarov announced that over the past five years, 6 billion 800 million soms have been invested in the development of the Naryn region.
He noted that the Tenir-Tuu region has significant energy potential, and the Naryn River offers vast opportunities for electricity generation.
The president also spoke about the construction of the Kulanak hydropower plant with a capacity of 100 MW, which, according to him, will strengthen the energy security of the region and provide additional capacity. In addition, the investor has begun preparatory work on the creation of the Kara-Keche thermal power plant with a capacity of 1200 MW.
