During the celebration of Nowruz in Naryn, President Sadyr Japarov announced that the gross domestic product of the region, which was 18 billion soms in 2020, will grow to 40 billion soms by 2025. This corresponds to an impressive growth rate of 224%.
As the president noted, the volume of industrial production has increased 5.7 times over the past five years. In 2021, 30 new industrial enterprises were opened in the region, and by 2025 their number has increased to 134. This has led to the creation of hundreds of new jobs.
