GP "Kyrgyz Komur" reduces dependence on contractors through its own equipment, - Deputy Head Sadyraliev
Previously, such operations were conducted with the involvement of contracting organizations, with contracts awarded on a competitive basis due to a lack of its own equipment.
“All these works were carried out by contracting organizations: we held competitions and, due to the shortage of our own equipment, attracted other companies on a contractual basis,” he noted.
Now, with the new machines, the enterprise can significantly reduce its expenses and independently perform a substantial part of the work, which, in turn, reduces dependence on external contractors.
In the past two years, "Kyrgyz Komur" has acquired excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks, and loaders. Last year, additional vehicles such as crew buses, water trucks, quarry dump trucks, graders, fuel tankers, and drilling rigs were added. Three sorting complexes for coal processing have also been purchased.
The total number of purchased equipment and vehicles amounted to about 76 units. These acquisitions were made in accordance with the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, including the aim of limiting the supply of small coal to the Chui-Bishkek region.
The deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, attended the ceremony of handing over the equipment.
In 2026, further equipment purchases are planned through leasing, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, dump trucks, and coal transporters, with a planned budget of over 1 billion soms.
According to Sadyraliev, the main supplier of equipment is China, which is due to the optimal price-quality ratio.
