At a recent meeting, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh supported the appointment of Almaz Baketaev as the chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. Baketaev previously held the position of Minister of Finance.
It is worth noting that at the same meeting, it became known that Melis Turgunbaev, the former head of the NBKR, decided to resign from his position.
