The meeting of the committee on finance, budget, entrepreneurship, and competition development took place in the Jogorku Kenesh, where the candidacy of Almaz Baketaev for the position of Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan was approved.
It should be noted that prior to this, Almaz Baketaev served as the Minister of Finance.
At the current meeting, the Speaker of Parliament Marlen Mamataliyev also announced that the current Chairman of the National Bank Melis Turgunbaev has resigned.
