The Ministry of Transport of the Kyrgyz Republic is actively carrying out planned activities aimed at improving the condition of roads and ensuring road safety. Currently, work is being done on pothole repairs and the improvement of road shoulders.
In particular, the road maintenance enterprises are performing the following tasks:
- DEP No. 5: Pothole repairs are being carried out on the section of the Bishkek-Osh highway, in the Uzgen district, from km 589 to 611, as well as strengthening and leveling the shoulders.
- DEP No. 43: On the Novopokrovka-Sary-Jon road, potholes formed after winter are being eliminated, the shoulders are being leveled, and shrubs and trees along the roadway are being trimmed.
- DEP No. 25: Work is underway to improve the condition of the Alamudun-Arashan-Koy-Tash road.
The goal of these activities is to restore the road surface and ensure the safe movement of vehicles. The Ministry of Transport urges drivers to exercise caution in areas where work is being conducted and to follow the instructions of road signs.
