In the city of Osh, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Tax Service, Alambet Shykmamatov, and local entrepreneurs.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the STS, Bakyt Jienbekov, heads of territorial tax authorities, as well as representatives from various sectors of the economy and accountants.

The format of the event was organized in a "question-answer" style, which contributed to an open atmosphere of constructive dialogue and positive interaction.

During the meeting, the business community was presented with information about new tools for identifying tax violations, including the analytical system "Salyk Kyzot," aimed at increasing transparency and improving tax administration.

Participants were also provided with detailed explanations of recent changes in the tax legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, which are aimed at simplifying administrative procedures, reducing the burden on businesses, and creating a more favorable environment for entrepreneurship.

Alambet Shykmamatov emphasized that such meetings are important for establishing an open dialogue with business structures, identifying current issues, and gathering specific proposals for their resolution.

During the event, entrepreneurs had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers directly from the leadership of the Tax Service.

He added that only through effective interaction and communication can businesses and tax authorities jointly address emerging problems. In this regard, Shykmamatov urged entrepreneurs to actively share their difficulties and seek consultations from the STS, while the tax service was tasked with providing ongoing support to taxpayers.

“Before making significant changes to tax legislation, it is necessary to conduct open discussions with the business community. Today’s meeting was productive—we discussed key issues, received feedback from taxpayers, and clarified several aspects of taxation,” noted Alambet Shykmamatov.

The head of the STS also pointed out that while protecting the interests of the state, one must not forget about the interests of entrepreneurs. It is necessary to find a balance to ensure fair taxation without creating unnecessary barriers for businesses.

“Tax reform should aim for mutually beneficial conditions: on one hand—revenues to the budget, on the other—comfortable conditions for taxpayers. Such an approach is only possible through the establishment of partnership relations between the state and business,” he explained.

As a result of the meeting, Alambet Shykmamatov, having listened to the opinions of the participants, identified several priority tasks and assignments aimed at improving interaction with entrepreneurs and optimizing tax administration.

The recording of Chairman of the STS Alambet Shykmamatov: Business and the state must find a golden mean was published on K-News.
