The head of state, Sadyr Japarov, shared his thoughts on reforms during his speech in the Jogorku Kenesh. He emphasized that reforms are a complex process that he has faced over the past five years.

The president noted that every beginning of reforms in any area is accompanied by discontent and disputes both on the streets and in social media.
“When people see these protests, they start to think that the authorities are making wrong decisions. However, if you analyze the situation, it becomes clear that only 10-100 people are opposing, often acting in their own interests. Reforms are aimed at improving the quality of life for future generations. For example, in the past, when changes were introduced to the system of issuing driver's licenses, protests also arose, but now the process has become significantly more organized,” Japarov added.
