Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic: Debt Accrued Before 2022 is Subject to Write-Off
According to information provided by Kubanychbek Isabekov, debts related to taxes and insurance contributions that have accrued before 2022 will be subject to write-off. This statement was made on the air of "Birinchi Radio".
The deputy chairman noted that changes regarding the Tax Code were implemented last year in accordance with the decree of the head of state.
"As for the write-off of taxes, a decision has been made to write off debts up to 2022, provided that no criminal cases have been initiated against them," Kubanychbek Isabekov said.
He emphasized that other debts may also be subject to write-off, even if there is already a court decision on them.
"Other debts may also be written off, even if there is a court case," he added.
In addition, he reported on the intention of the State Tax Service to clarify the application of new norms on the ground. The agency plans to send circulars to all regions so that decisions on write-offs are made without excessive bureaucracy and in strict accordance with the law.
He also noted that separate decisions have already been made regarding the write-off of debts in several areas, including the export of livestock to Uzbekistan and the purchase of agricultural products without documentation.
