In parts of Bishkek, water will be turned off on March 12.
A temporary shutdown of drinking water is planned in Bishkek on March 12, 2026, from 09:00 to 18:00. During this period, water supply will be suspended for residential buildings, educational institutions, kindergartens, medical facilities, and other social and industrial organizations. This information is provided by the city administration.
The shutdown area includes Dostoevsky, Ankara, Auezov streets, and the railway line, as well as residential areas such as Altyn Ordo, Kara-Jyach, and Police Town.
The reason for the shutdown is repair and preventive work at the "Kontrezervuary" water intake, as well as on the city’s water supply systems.
The "Bishkekvodokanal" committee apologizes for any inconvenience and recommends that residents and organizations stock up on drinking water in advance.
