In Moscow, issues of harmonizing air traffic in the CIS countries were discussed
During the meeting, participants discussed a draft plan of priority measures for the implementation of the Concept for harmonizing national air traffic organization systems among CIS countries.
The concept, aimed at unifying air traffic management rules, was approved by the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS on June 5, 2025. Its goal is to facilitate interaction between national systems and enhance flight safety.
Proposals from Belarus and Kazakhstan regarding the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles and the unity of the air traffic planning system in CIS states were also reviewed and approved at the meeting.
According to established procedures, the agreed draft document will be sent for consideration to the governments of the CIS member states.
Representatives from the relevant ministries of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan participated in the meeting, as well as specialists from the Interstate Aviation Committee, the Eurasian Economic Commission, and the Executive Committee of the CIS.
