President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov addressed women of the country with congratulations on March 8 — International Women's Day.

“Dear mothers, dear sisters!
Respected women of Kyrgyzstan!
With deep heartfelt warmth, I congratulate you on March 8 – International Women's Day!
In the history of the Kyrgyz people, rooted in the distant past, family values that regulate relationships between men and women, elders and younger ones, parents and children, have been formed based on traditions and customs, becoming an integral part of our culture. Among these traditions, special attention is given to folk proverbs that have affirmed the high status of women in society for centuries: “A man is the support of the home and the shield of the people, while a woman is the grace of the home and the foundation of family well-being,” “With a good wife, the husband is good,” “Mother's milk is sacred.” These wise words testify to the high appreciation of the role of women in our society. Her wisdom, kindness, and care have contributed to the creation of strong families and a stable society.
Therefore, our people have always shown special respect for women. Outstanding mothers such as Chiyrdy, Kanykey, Aichurok have made significant contributions to the fate of our people. It is no coincidence that the understanding has firmly taken root in Kyrgyz traditions: “Mother is sacred, daughter is dear.” To welcome a daughter as a guest and to provide her with an honorable place is a vivid manifestation of our national values.
In the context of globalization, preserving our traditions takes on special significance. No matter how the world changes, the moral foundations passed down by our ancestors, including respect for women, must never be forgotten. The upbringing given to us by our mothers paves the way for a bright future. A people that honors its mother and respects its father will always be worthy of respect.
The state also highly values women as keepers of the hearth, continuers of the lineage, and a vital force contributing to the development of society, providing them with comprehensive support. We are proud of Kyrgyz women who make significant contributions in the fields of education, science, culture, medicine, business, and public administration. In recent history, the names of such outstanding women as Kakish Ryskulova, Batys Salieva, Toktogon Altybasarova, Zuurakan Kainazarova, Telegey Sagymbaeva, Tenti Adysheva, and Kulyuypy Konduchalova have glorified the Kyrgyz people and confirmed their rightful place in society. These individuals continue the traditions of the wise mothers of the past, demonstrating the strength, intellect, and potential of Kyrgyz women.
Today, there are also many women who, following the example of their illustrious predecessors, achieve significant success in their fields and make a great contribution to the development of our country.
It is our duty to maintain a respectful attitude and adhere to the values inherited from our ancestors that contributed to the emergence of revered women. We recognize that returning to our roots and traditions means elevating the status of women, respecting mothers, and honoring daughters.
