President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov congratulated the women of the country on the important holiday of March 8.

“Dear mothers and sisters, esteemed women of Kyrgyzstan! I sincerely congratulate you on International Women's Day!” — he addressed the representatives of the fair sex.

In his speech, Japarov noted that in the history of the Kyrgyz people, which has roots in the distant past, important values regulating family relationships were formed based on traditions and customs. These foundations became the basis for unwritten laws, among which proverbs emphasizing the significance of women hold a special place: “A man is the support of the home, and a woman is its grace,” “A good husband has a good wife,” “Mother's milk is sacred.” These sayings highlight the high status of women in society, and their wisdom and kindness ensure stability both in the family and in society.

“Our people have always shown special respect for women. Outstanding figures such as Chiyrdy, Kanykey, and Aichurok played an important role in the fate of the nation. In Kyrgyz tradition, the understanding that ‘mother is sacred, daughter is precious’ is deeply rooted, which vividly demonstrates our national values,” the president added.

Considering the modern world, preserving national traditions, including honoring women, becomes especially important. Japarov emphasized that despite changes in society, the moral foundations passed down by our ancestors must remain at the center of our attention. Respect for mothers and fathers is the guarantee of the dignity of the people.

The state highly values women as the keepers of the family hearth and as a vital force contributing to the development of society. We are proud of Kyrgyz women who make significant contributions in various fields, including education, science, culture, and medicine. The names of women such as Kakish Ryskulova, Batys Salieva, and Toktogon Altybasarova have become symbols of success and inspiration for future generations.

Today, many women continue to achieve significant heights in their fields, making substantial contributions to the development of the country.

“Our task is to preserve respect for the traditions that have contributed to the formation of revered women. Returning to the roots and traditions implies respect for mothers and daughters,” Japarov noted.

“Dear women of Kyrgyzstan! I wish you happiness and prosperity. May peace and abundance reign in your homes, and may smiles never leave your faces. May your children be happy, and may your lineage continue. Happy holiday to you!” — he concluded.
