A large stockpile of firearms and ammunition has been discovered in the Osh region, reports the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (GKNB).
According to available information, this arsenal belonged to members of an organized crime group associated with the criminal authority Kadyrov Dosonov.
During the inspection of the cache, GKNB officers seized:
— 12 Kalashnikov assault rifles (AK);
— 2 service pistols of the brands "Beretta" and "Makarov";
— 2 smoothbore sawed-off shotguns;
— 11 magazines for Kalashnikov rifles;
— 700 rounds of 7.62 mm caliber (in one hermetically sealed metal box);
— 58 rounds of 9x19 mm caliber;
— 66 rounds of 9x18 mm caliber;
— 8 cleaning kits for firearms.
The investigative authorities have information that this arsenal was prepared for committing serious crimes, including attempts to destabilize the socio-political situation in the country.
The GKNB of Kyrgyzstan states that there are plans for a coup involving foreign "thieves in law." The discovery of the weapons arsenal of the organized crime group of criminal authority K. Dosonov in the Osh region was first reported by K-News.
