In Kyrgyzstan, the GKNB, together with the SVR of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the KR, detained an employee of the GUOBDD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the KR OPSM, who is suspected of fraud.
It has been established that in August 2025, he deceitfully received 100,000 soms (50,000 soms each from citizens "K.Y." and "T.D.") for assistance in obtaining driver's licenses. The money was transferred via the mobile application "Mbank" to the account details provided by the OPSM employee, reports the GKNB.
The employee was detained on March 4, 2026, and placed in the GKNB KR detention center. Investigative actions regarding this case are currently ongoing.
The GKNB reminds that obtaining driver's licenses should only occur through legal means.
