An employee of the Department for Combating Crime in the Field of Migration (OCRM) of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the city of Osh was detained by the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR) in conjunction with the Ministry of Internal Affairs' (MVD) Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) as part of an investigation into a fraud case. During the investigation, it was revealed that in August 2025, he deceitfully collected 50,000 soms from two citizens — "K.Y." and "T.D." In total, he unlawfully acquired 100,000 soms, which were supposed to be paid for assistance in obtaining driver's licenses. The funds were transferred via the mobile application "Mbank" to the accounts he provided.
On March 4, 2026, the suspect was arrested and placed in the GKNB investigative isolation facility. Investigative actions are currently ongoing. The GKNB KR emphasizes that obtaining driver's licenses is only possible through legal means and underscores the position of President S.N. Japarov regarding the unacceptability of corruption in this area.
