In China, Edil Baysalov and the CEO of Genertec discussed support for SMEs
Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov made a working trip to the People's Republic of China, where he met with Cui Zhicheng, the general director of the Chinese state corporation China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd. (Genertec).
According to the press service of the government, the meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation in developing Kyrgyzstan's industrial potential, as well as the creation of joint production capacities. Emphasis was placed on supporting small and medium-sized businesses through the implementation of new production lines and the adaptation of modern technologies.
Edil Baisalov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is interested in attracting advanced Chinese technologies and investments, which will help form sustainable industrial chains and improve opportunities for local companies.
Cui Zhicheng, in turn, shared information about Genertec's current projects abroad, including in Kyrgyzstan and other Central Asian countries, in areas such as machine engineering, energy, and medicine. He expressed interest in more active cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
The parties agreed on the need to maintain regular contacts to expedite the advancement of joint projects, based on mutually beneficial cooperation for the development of Kyrgyz-Chinese strategic partnership.
