In the current situation in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan is actively working to ensure the safety and protection of the rights of its citizens in the region. An important step has been the discussion of evacuation issues with colleagues from Kazakhstan, as reported by the director of the Consular Department, Seytek Jumakadyrov Uulu.
Seytek Jumakadyrov Uulu noted that the consulates of Kyrgyzstan located in countries such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan are making every effort to assist their citizens.
According to him, there are no casualties among Kyrgyz citizens in the mentioned countries. The situation there remains stable. Citizens whose hotel bookings have expired are being given the opportunity for re-accommodation in the same hotels.
However, some difficulties are being experienced by Kyrgyz tourists in Dubai and Qatar. Currently, alternative routes for evacuation are being considered, and sequential measures are being implemented. Negotiations have also been held with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, where proposals for joint solutions to the arising issues were voiced,” added Seytek Jumakadyrov Uulu.
