At a national meeting, President Sadyr Japarov announced that the implementation of video surveillance has contributed to a 73% reduction in crime rates. The President emphasized that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has undergone significant digital transformation.

“All regions of the country are equipped with modern video surveillance systems with round-the-clock monitoring, and the work on their installation continues. This has led to a 73% decrease in registered crimes, and in areas with installed cameras, serious offenses have decreased by 68%,” he noted.

In the opinion of the head of state, statements about the formation of a strong state must be supported by real actions: “This implies protecting borders, ensuring justice, punishing criminals, and the safety of every citizen,” he added.

Currently, a meeting is taking place at “Yntymak Ordo” to summarize the results of 2025 with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.

The event also includes members of the cabinet of ministers, heads of state institutions, presidential representatives in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims.
