The Ministry of Transport is initiating the creation of this council, which will become an important tool for protecting the interests of domestic carriers and considering their opinions in decision-making regarding international cooperation.
“The main task of this initiative is to create conditions that promote the development of national carriers. During the discussions, issues faced by Kyrgyz carriers in the field of international freight transportation were raised, as well as possible ways to develop unified proposals for their presentation on the international stage,” the press release states.
Representatives of the business community expressed interest in establishing the Business Council and emphasized the importance of having a permanent platform for discussing current issues and developing joint solutions.
The establishment of such a council will be an important step towards improving interaction between the state and business, reducing administrative barriers, and strengthening the positions of national transport companies in the market.
