According to Taimuras, he purchased property worth about $470,000, including metal structures and pipes, which were subsequently removed by the previous owner. "We planned to build a school on the site of a burned-down building. The intermediary in the deal was Bakyt Torobaev, who was a relative of the seller and helped us lower the price. Some people are trying to tarnish my father's reputation, but during the month of Oroz, we forgave them," he added.
Additionally, Taimuras reported that in order to create a playground, he bought several shops and residential buildings located near the territory of the former factory.
On February 23, an audio recording of a phone conversation appeared on social media, in which one of the interlocutors, presumably Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Töröbaev, claims that Taimuras Tashiev and Kanibek Dosmambetov allegedly took the enterprise from its owner. The recording states that Tashiev only acquired the land of the factory, promised to pay one million dollars but did not do so, and expressed intentions to demolish the factory, but later backed out of this.
Taimuras Tashiev, 32, is the eldest son of Kamchybek Tashiev and serves as the deputy director of the company "Thomas and Co." In 2021, he was elected as a deputy of the Jalal-Abad City Council from the Ata-Jurt Kyrgyzstan party, but soon resigned his powers. He is also linked to investments in the construction of the bypass road "Özgön" on the Bishkek—Osh highway.
