The Pakistan Air Force struck 7 'terrorist camps' on the border with Afghanistan

According to local sources, these actions included airstrikes carried out by Pakistani military aircraft in the Barmal area of Paktika province, located in Afghanistan.

Terrorism in Pakistan

The most frequent armed attacks in the country are recorded in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, which border Afghanistan. These regions are strongholds of armed groups that claim to defend the rights of the Pashtun and Baloch peoples, carrying out attacks on both Pakistani security forces and the civilian population.

Islamabad accuses the Pakistani wing of the Taliban of operating from Afghanistan and organizing attacks from that territory; however, the authorities in Kabul deny these accusations.

In Balochistan, the most notable armed group is the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), which advocates for the province's secession from Pakistan and the transfer of regional governance to local Baloch people.
