By the end of 2025, there were 162 renewable energy power plants operating in Kazakhstan.

- According to the annual report of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan on budget execution, by the end of 2025, there were 162 power plants operating in Kazakhstan that are focused on renewable energy sources.

This list includes facilities with a capacity of over 100 kilowatts. Their total installed capacity is 3537 MW, including:

– 67 wind power plants with a total capacity of 1909 MW;

– 49 solar power plants with a capacity of 1313 MW;

– 43 hydroelectric power stations (large ones are not included) with a capacity of 314 MW;

– 3 biogas plants with a capacity of 1.77 MW.
