The EAEU has approved a plan for the implementation of the declaration on the development of the union until 2030 and 2045, - Ministry of Economic Development
In December of last year, the deputy prime ministers of the member states of the EEC Council approved a plan for the implementation of this declaration. This document includes 345 measures aimed at improving customs regulation, trade relations, digitalization, industry, and the agro-industrial complex.
Regarding customs regulation, the plan aims to unify legislation and align law enforcement practices, which will be enshrined in the Customs Code. In the area of technical regulation, the establishment of a unified system of technical regulation is envisaged.
In the field of circulation of medical products and devices, harmonization of approaches among the member states regarding various aspects of their regulation is anticipated.
Particular attention is paid to the agro-industrial complex, where measures are planned to ensure the availability of food products and to develop economic ties between producers and consumers. There are also plans to implement a financing mechanism for agro-industrial projects involving at least three member states.
“Agricultural producers can already receive interest-free loans, with the interest rate covered by the union's budget,” noted Nasiridinov. The launch of this mechanism in the agricultural sector is scheduled for the end of 2026.
A similar financing mechanism is already in operation in industry, where key rates are subsidized. Currently, the possibility of additional subsidization is being considered.
The plan also includes the development of industrial cooperation, the implementation of digital solutions based on artificial intelligence, and the improvement of legal protection for intellectual property.
In addition, the Kyrgyz side is initiating the provision of special privileges for cooperative projects, taking into account the level of industrialization of the union's states.
According to Nasiridinov, this issue is currently under discussion, and a corresponding mechanism is planned to be advanced by the end of the year.
