In the near future, businesses from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will be able to count on financial support for cooperative projects in the agro-industrial complex (AIC). This was announced by Naira Karapetyan, director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Policy of the EEC.

The corresponding directive was adopted by the governments of the EAEU countries at the end of 2025.

This initiative is aimed at helping entrepreneurs find new partners and expand markets for agricultural products.

According to Karapetyan, support will be provided in four main areas:

She also noted that the basic conditions for the participation of organizations from three EAEU member states have already been established, with the subsidy period lasting up to five years.

According to EEC data, to launch this project, one of the following conditions must be met:
creation of added value
increased export potential
ensuring technology transfer
innovative development
growth of mutual supplies and investments
creation of joint ventures

If domestic procedures are completed quickly, the support mechanism will be launched in the EAEU as early as next year.
Previously, Kaniyet Nasirdinov, head of the integration development sector of the EAEU Coordination Management at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, noted that by the end of the year, a support mechanism for cooperative projects in the AIC could be implemented in the union.

He added that Kyrgyzstan proposed to expand this mechanism to cover the agro-industrial complex. This measure is expected to contribute to import substitution, the development of agricultural product processing, and the enhancement of the export potential of the Union countries, including Kyrgyzstan.
