Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov held a meeting with Ambassador Volker Frobrich, who heads the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek. According to Baisalov, Kyrgyzstan views the OSCE as an important platform for conducting an equal and mutually respectful dialogue on security and cooperation issues. He emphasized the country's commitment to democratic principles, the rule of law, and the protection of human rights and freedoms.
During the conversation, key areas of cooperation were discussed, including the fight against corruption and organized crime, the digitalization of public services, and the reform of the judicial and law enforcement systems.
The parties also touched upon issues related to the further development of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, including its institutional aspects and tax matters.
The outcome of the meeting was the confirmation of mutual readiness to deepen constructive cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the OSCE.
