By December 1, the Cabinet plans to complete construction work on 25% of the Suusamyr—Talas—Taraz road.
According to the document, by December 1, 2023, it is expected to complete 25% of all construction work and lay 20 kilometers of asphalt concrete on the section of the road with a length of 104.6–197.6 km.
The executive responsibilities are assigned to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, and financing will be provided from funds attracted from development partners.

The length of the reconstructed section is 93 km, starting from the city of Talas and reaching the checkpoint "Kichi-Kapka." The completion of construction work is expected between 2025 and 2028, with a 5-year warranty on the project.
As part of the project, the reconstruction of six bridges, the construction of one underground passage, as well as the arrangement of sidewalks and street lighting in populated areas is planned. The classification of the road will be upgraded from III to II.
