The deputy proposed to resume the operation of the ferroalloy plant in Tash-Kumyr.

During the plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh held on February 18, 2026, Deputy Bolotbek Borbieyev raised the issue of the difficult financial situation of employees at the ferroalloy plant located in Tash-Kumyr. He noted that the workers of the enterprise are still without salaries.

According to him, the plant has long been declared bankrupt; however, this does not relieve the management of responsibility towards its employees, whose earned wages remain unpaid.
The deputy emphasized that the plant, despite the current difficulties, has the potential to operate and can have a significant impact on the country's economy.
