GDP of EAEU countries increased by 11% over 4 years, - Chairman of the EEC Board Sagintaev
According to him, from 2020 to 2024, there was an 11% increase in the gross domestic product (GDP) of the EAEU countries. Meanwhile, the industrial sector grew by 15%, and agriculture demonstrated a 10% increase.
By 2025, the main economic indicators of the EAEU continued to show positive results. Preliminary data indicates a GDP growth of 1.7% for the member countries in the past year.
In addition, the share of transactions in national currencies between the Union states amounted to 93%.
“The involvement of the business circles of the Eurasian 'five' in integration processes is becoming an important factor for enhancing the competitiveness of national economies,” noted Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
