On February 20, a meeting will be held at the Chyngyz Aitmatov Cinema House, where the creation of a Consultative Council aimed at the development of animation and children's audiovisual content will be discussed. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan.
The Department of Cinematography is the initiator of this event. The main goal of this initiative is to promote national animation, which will contribute to the education and upbringing of children and adolescents, as well as strengthen cultural identity. In addition, support for local authors and animation studios is planned.
The tasks of the new council include developing strategic approaches to the production of animation and children's content in the country, as well as facilitating the creation of quality and competitive national products.
The council will participate in formulating recommendations, reviewing projects, supporting scripts and pilot works, as well as developing works based on national values. An important task will be the implementation of international experience, the establishment of quality standards and an age rating system, as well as ensuring interaction with educational and creative organizations.
The Ministry of Culture emphasizes that the creation of such a council will be an important step towards the systematic development of the animation industry in the country and the formation of a sustainable ecosystem for quality children's content.
