During the event, the mayor emphasized the importance of strengthening the material and technical base of rescue services. In 2023, approximately 5 million soms were allocated to support the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and over the past two years, funding has increased to 10 million soms.
“We will continue to support the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations by creating all necessary conditions for their effective work. The new equipment will be an important tool in your responsible activities and will help you be prepared for any emergencies, as well as respond quickly to the needs of the citizens,” said Junushaliev.
Last year, measures to enhance safety in the city were successfully implemented, such as strengthening riverbanks, constructing a dam with a volume of 50,000 m³ in the Manka-Zhar gorge, as well as purchasing modern rescue equipment, as reported by the city administration.
