According to him, the construction of a bypass road around the city of Balıkçı will also start in the coming months.
In 2026, the complete finishing of the Balıkçı—Bokonbaev—Karakol highway is planned, with some sections having been built earlier.
Additionally, the plans include:
- completion of the 16 km road to the Jeti-Oguz resort;
- road works as part of the Ala-Tuu Resort ski resort;
- beginning construction of the remaining 30 km of the Balbay—Karakol road in 2026;
- development of infrastructure in Issyk-Kul for tourists.
“Work is ongoing on the 80 km section from Korumdu to Balbay Baatyr. In 2025, the first layer of asphalt was laid here, and in 2026, the laying of the second layer will be completed, along with the construction of bike paths and sidewalks,” he noted.
As part of the preparation for the World Nomad Games, a 34-kilometer road to the Jailoo Kychyn will be fully asphalted. In 2025, about 7 km of asphalt was already laid on this route, and parking zones were organized, Bazaraliev added.
Moreover, significant attention is being paid to the strategic project — the construction of the Barskon—Bedel road, the work on which began in September 2025. Currently, the preparatory stages have been completed.
The project includes the construction of two tunnels. The excavation was temporarily halted in winter due to the impossibility of conducting blasting works; however, they will be resumed in the coming month.
In the Naryn region, the construction of the Naryn—Bayetov road continues, with a total length of 120 km, of which:
- 8 km pass through the city,
- 112 km — outside of it.
As of now, in 2025, 20 km have been built, and the remaining sections are planned to be completed in 2026. For this, two asphalt concrete plants owned by the road authority are already operational, allowing for full-scale work to be conducted.
