The appointment is made in accordance with Article 18 of the constitutional law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic".
Previously, from April to November 2025, Timur Malbashev served as the director of GAUGI.
As a result of the Chairman of the Cabinet's order, Aivar Monoldorov was relieved of his duties as the director of "Kyrgyz Munai Kompaniyasy".
