During the visit, the director of the Cinematography Department, Talantbek Tolobekov, and the head of the film studio, Maksat Jumayev, provided a report on the progress of the renovation and restoration works.
According to information from the ministry, the restoration of the elevators has already been completed, and the updating of offices for directors, producers, artists, and makeup artists is underway, along with the procurement of new furniture.
Work is ongoing both in the cinema hall and in the old building, where specialized filming locations and stage spaces are being created.
Mirbek Mambetaliev instructed the Cinematography Department and its subordinate institutions to ensure the quality and timely completion of all renovation works. He also urged to strengthen control over the targeted use of budgetary funds and to intensify efforts to modernize the infrastructure in the film sector to create more comfortable conditions for the development of domestic film production.
