- As of February 13, the Agreement concerning cooperation among the CIS member states in the field of heavy machine engineering will come into effect, as reported by the Executive Committee of the CIS.

Thus, the document enters into force for Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.

The Agreement was signed at the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS, which took place in Dushanbe on June 5, 2025. The participants include Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

The main goal of this document is to develop industrial production in the field of heavy machine engineering, including the implementation of modern technologies in the areas of resource conservation and ensuring environmental safety.
