In 2026, Kyrgyzstan will participate in the ITB Berlin international exhibition — the largest event in the tourism sector. The preparation for this event is being carried out by the Tourism Development Support Fund and the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A recent meeting was held with the participation of tour operators, representatives of tourist destinations, and the Kyrgyz Association of Tourism Organizations (KATO). During the meeting, details of the design of the National Stand and strategies for showcasing the country's tourism potential were discussed.
At the exhibition in 2026, Kyrgyzstan will be represented by 11 tour companies, as well as three tourist destinations and KATO. The National Stand will be designed in a unified style, focusing on promoting the country's brand, establishing B2B contacts, and expanding international cooperation.
The Fund noted that participation in such international events plays an important role in strengthening business ties and promoting Kyrgyzstan's tourism opportunities in the European market, where tens of thousands of specialists from around the world gather annually.
