- On February 13, 2026, a meeting took place between Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration, and the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Kohir Rasulzoda, who visited Kyrgyzstan on a working visit to participate in the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Council between the two countries. The press service of the Cabinet reports on the outcomes of this meeting.

During the discussion, Kasymaliev noted that in 2025, the trade turnover with Tajikistan amounted to 36 million dollars, which is almost a 24-fold increase compared to the previous year.

He also emphasized that the presidents of both countries set the task of increasing the trade volume to 500 million dollars and expressed readiness to achieve this goal.
