On February 12, a meeting took place in Bishkek between Kairat Tursunkulov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Ambassador of Qatar to Kyrgyzstan, Ali bin Jaber Al-Marri.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions focused on aspects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Qatar in the fields of trade, economy, as well as culture and humanitarian initiatives. The parties noted the high level of political dialogue achieved to date.
During the meeting, the paths for implementing existing agreements were also analyzed, including enhancing interaction between various departments.
Qatar was invited to participate in the VI World Nomad Games, which was also discussed during the meeting. The successful cooperation between the two countries within international organizations was positively noted.
The parties expressed their readiness for ongoing working contact to jointly address the identified issues.
