- In Uzbekistan, a ban has been introduced on the transportation of goods through the "Kamchik" pass for trucks and tractors manufactured more than 20 years ago. This was reported by the Department of Ground and Water Transport, referring to a resolution from the Cabinet of Ministers of the country regarding measures to regulate freight transport through this pass.

The "Kamchik" pass (Kamchiq/Qamchiq) is located in the eastern part of Uzbekistan and represents an important section of the international highway Tashkent—Osh (A-373). This pass ensures the main flow of road transport between Tashkent and the Fergana Valley, as well as serving as a transit route to the Kyrgyz Republic.

Carriers from Kyrgyzstan, operating routes to Uzbekistan, including trips to the Fergana Valley and transit routes towards Tashkent—Fergana—Kyrgyzstan, actively use this route. Thus, the new regulation banning the passage of trucks older than 20 years may significantly impact their operations, as it allows for the exclusion of old vehicles from the transport flow through "Kamchik."
