Among the expected events aimed at strengthening trade and economic ties, Vakunov mentioned:
- The 27th meeting of the Russian-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Commission, which will take place from May 12 to 17 in Kazan;
- The seventh business forum for entrepreneurs from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, scheduled to be held in the Issyk-Kul region;
- The Russian-Kyrgyz interregional conference, which will be held in the fall in Kyrgyzstan.
“Representatives of Russian regions are showing interest in cooperation in various fields,” emphasized Vakunov.
He also noted that the leadership of the Altai Republic, known for its mountain resorts, is particularly interested in Kyrgyzstan's plans to create a ski cluster in the Issyk-Kul region.
Additionally, the Sverdlovsk and Novosibirsk regions of Russia are expressing interest in cooperation.
