Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia Discussed Joint Investment Projects in Industry and Agriculture
During the negotiations, the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding, signed on October 24, 2024, between the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic and its Mongolian counterpart was discussed.
The parties considered the prospects for deepening trade, economic, and investment cooperation, including areas such as industry, agriculture, tourism, the "green" economy, and digital development.
One of the key topics of the meeting was measures to improve the investment climate in Kyrgyzstan, including the adoption of new laws such as "On Investments in the Kyrgyz Republic," "On Public-Private Partnership," and the draft law "On Venture Financing."
Taking into account the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of Mongolia to Kyrgyzstan in July 2025, the possibilities for creating joint production in the light, textile, and processing industries were discussed.
Issues related to the implementation of the decisions from the 5th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission were also raised, including the organization of joint business missions and investment events.
